About the role

We are searching for a Commercial Specialist (Tenders and Proposals) to join our passionate Business Development team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Reporting into our experienced Business Development Manager, this new role will take responsibility for proactively conducting market intelligence and research, preparing tenders and proposals, and partnering closely with our practice teams to identify new market and new client opportunities.

This role plays a vital part in the ongoing growth and development of Lavan’s practice.  You will be working alongside key internal and external stakeholders to achieve market driven objectives. 

About you

This role will suit an enthusiastic and dedicated individual with a keen eye for detail. You will be self-driven, organised and enjoy a varied and autonomous role. To be successful you will bring with you:

  • Demonstrated experience in writing and submitting tenders (or similar writing experience with grant or proposals)
  • Strong interpersonal skills and experience liaising with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to successfully manage a wide range of tasks simultaneously within tight deadlines
  • Relevant tertiary qualification
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite and InDesign
  • High attention to detail with the ability to multitask and prioritise work
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence outcomes
  • Enthusiasm and reliability as a team player
