Property and Leasing Lawyer

About The Role

Join WA’s largest and one of WA’s pre-eminent Property & Leasing teams, working closely with Partner, Peter Beekink.

We are seeking an ambitious, commercially astute lawyer with 5+ years’ post admission experience in property within a commercial firm.

You will be involved in myriad of challenging and complex matters, including:

• Major commercial and greenfields developments;
• Property acquisitions and disposals;
• Negotiations of complex leasing arrangements;
• General leasing for a variety of retail, commercial and large format retail centres.

You will be engaged in stimulating and rewarding work, within a high performing and collaborative team.

About You

You have a passion for this sector and pride yourself on your commercial acumen and solutions-focussed style.

You are excellent in fostering and maintaining client relationships and are able to understand commercial drivers and the requirements of clients, to then provide the desired outcomes and (where necessary) innovative solutions. 

Further to the relevant legal experience, you will also have:

• Interest in business development and attending events;
• A desire to learn and continuously improve;
• Attention to detail and technical skills;
• Strong work ethic with a commitment to excellence;
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team; and
• A collaborative approach to the delivery of work within a highly skilled team.
