Greg Nairn is a partner in Lavan’s Construction & Infrastructure Team.
Greg has been with Lavan for over 11 years. He graduated with Honours from the University of Western Australia in 1998 and has been practising as a lawyer since the completion of his articles in December 1999.
Greg advises clients on construction contract drafting and negotiation, strategic claims management, and major disputes.
His clients include contractors and subcontractors operating in civil contracting, commercial & industrial construction, oil & gas and mining services industries, principals (typically property developers and asset owners) as well as financiers (public banks and private financiers) in relation to construction contracting risk and negotiation and drafting of tripartite agreements (side deeds).
Greg is an active member of the Civil Contractors Federation and the Resolution Institute (incorporating the Institute of Arbitrators and Mediators Australia). Greg regularly gives industry presentations relating to construction law and commercial practice.
