Carmen acts for banks and insolvency practitioners in relation to impaired assets and provides advice on legal issues arising in all forms of external administration.
Carmen Boothman is a senior associate in Lavan's Recovery, Reconstruction and Insolvency team.
Carmen has appeared in all state courts and the Federal Court of Australia on litigious matters, including liquidator actions and contested mortgage proceedings.
In late 2013, Carmen took up a commercial position with CB&I on ExxonMobil's
$1 billion gas plant expansion project in Victoria. Carmen also commenced, and is currently undertaking, her Masters of Law at the prestigious University of Melbourne.
