Kate Daniels is an associate in Lavan’s Aged Care, Seniors Living & Disability team.
Kate is a commercial lawyer providing specialised legal and strategic advice to clients in disability services (including SIL and SDA), aged care, retirement and lifestyle villages, community housing, Not-for-profits, and Indigenous Corporations (including Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations).
Kate has significant experience providing advice to diverse clients on commercial and regulatory matters, management of compliance obligations, internal audit processes and risk management, sales/acquisitions and development. She is an experienced advocate before various courts and tribunals, and has a demonstrated ability to manage complex and/or contentious negotiations and dispute resolution processes.
Kate is an active advocate for the above sectors and focuses on providing comprehensive and practical advice that is tailored to meet industry specific requirements.
