As efforts to reduce the reach of COVID-19 continue, Lavan’s priority is protecting the health of our people, our clients, their families and our community.
I am therefore writing to let you know, from tomorrow 18 March 2020 to Friday 3 April 2020, our people will be working from home.
We are monitoring the advice of the Government and health authorities and this date may be revised if the situation improves before or continues beyond this time. To keep you informed of our progress, we will be sending regular updates in the coming weeks.
We want to reassure you that it is business as usual and Lavan staff are fully contactable via their direct office lines, mobiles and email. We have well-established technology and IT systems for working remotely which allow us to take these measures without interrupting our client service delivery.
If you have a meeting scheduled at Lavan, your lawyer will be in touch to make arrangements to conduct the meeting by phone, teleconference or video conferencing facilities such as Skype or WebEx.
If you have a matter scheduled for trial or mediation, unless a decision is made by the Court which impacts your matter, our work and preparation will continue as normal. If a decision of the Court does impact your matter, your Lavan lawyer will contact you to alert you to those changes.
