On 1 July 2013 the Department of Environment and Conservation will be separated into two agencies; the Department of Parks and Wildlife and the Department of Environment Regulation.
It is not clear at this stage how this will impact on approval mechanisms relevant to the development industry and clients are encouraged to ensure that any concerns arising are addressed to the appropriate peak industry association as a matter of priority.
