In my latest column for Business News, I argue (using an extreme but very real example to illustrate the point) that the ongoing focus on the cost of the NDIS is a fallacy. Rather the focus should be on the questions of:
- How do we make the NDIS sustainable?
- What is the role of States and Territories in supporting people with disability?
Only then will any conversation about purpose, cost and value of the NDIS be sensible.
