Mitchell Davis is an associate in Lavan’s Restructuring & Insolvency team.
Mitchell practises commercial litigation, specialising in restructuring and insolvency.
Mitchell has assisted clients implement deeds of company arrangement, and prosecute various applications in court, particularly under Part 5.3A of the Corporations Act 2001, including an approval to enter a settlement agreement; to terminate a liquidation; to appoint voluntary administrators; in relation to public examinations; and to determine the proper construction of provisions under the Corporations Act.
Mitchell also has a keen interest in advocacy, having appeared in the Magistrates Court of Western Australia, the District Court of Western Australia, the Supreme Court of Western Australia, and the Federal Court of Australia.
