Cinzia’s experience encompasses all forms of dispute resolution including mediation, litigation, and arbitration. She is a litigation specialist, who has represented clients both as an advocate, and a solicitor, in many large Western Australian disputes. She has a wide-range of experience across areas including property, corporate, commercial, intellectual property, trade practices, crime, and general litigation.
Cinzia has managed complex litigation for public companies, private companies and high-net-worth individuals in superior jurisdictions including the Supreme Court, the Court of Appeal, the Federal Court, and the Full Federal Court. She also appears an advocate for clients in contested applications and trials in those jurisdictions, and the State Administrative Tribunal.
Cinzia acts for clients in relation to commercial disputes and criminal matters and leads the Corporate Disputes Team and the Corporate Crime & Investigation Team.
Cinzia assists clients involved in corporate disputes such as board spills, adverse shareholder actions and advises directors and companies in relation to directors’ duties and obligations. She also acts for directors, officers, and companies, in relation to internal corporate investigations.
Cinzia also represents clients in regulatory investigations and enforcement actions. She assists clients in their dealings with regulators such as the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC), the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) and the Western Australian Crime and Corruption Commission (CCC).
