Tiny Sparks WA is a volunteer-powered charity dedicated to supporting families navigating high-risk pregnancies, neonatal care, and the early years beyond hospital. Founded in 2013 by parents with lived experience, Tiny Sparks began with a handful of care packages for families in Western Australia’s neonatal units and has grown into a state-wide organisation reaching thousands each year.
We provide practical and emotional support through our Neonatal Unit Care Packages, Bedrest Care Packages, and Developmental Playgroup for babies born preterm or unwell. Our Strong Starts for Tiny Sparks webinar series connects families with trusted health professionals, while our advocacy and research partnerships ensure the voices of parents are heard in shaping maternity, neonatal, and early life healthcare across Australia.
Around 10 babies are admitted to Western Australian neonatal units every day, and we believe every one of them deserves the best possible start in life. Together with our community, partners, and supporters, Tiny Sparks is lighting the way for brighter beginnings
