Rebekah is aware that the nature of her work often creates new and long-term legal relationships between her client and others. She is conscious of having a role in ensuring that these relationships start on a good footing and that, to assist in this way, she must appreciate both the legal and commercial tensions at play and be innovative and practical in her negotiations.
Rebekah has over 18 years’ experience in property law. She is a leasing specialist – her practice is a mixture of commercial, industrial and retail leasing, together with the leasing of Crown land. Rebekah has worked with a variety of leasing and managing agents, together with landlords and tenants of varying nature and size, in the private and government spheres.
She prepares pro forma leasing documentation for new and existing developments and drafts and negotiates agreements for lease, leases and ancillary documentation for all property asset types. Rebekah’s years of experience, and knowledge of the sectors in which she operates, allow her to bring commerciality to legal negotiations.
Rebekah has experience in property transaction work, including the acquisition and disposal of commercial, industrial and retail assets, together with the associated due diligence.
