Aleksa Kovacevic

Aleksa Kovacevic is an associate in Lavan’s Restructuring, Disputes & Insolvency team.

Aleksa has experience working in a variety of corporate and commercial matters, including the development of turnaround and restructuring strategies, distressed mergers and acquisitions projects and contested court applications under Part 5.3A of the Corporations Act.  With a strong understanding of the intricacies of distressed deals, Aleksa has worked across a diverse range of industries, including mining and energy, and has provided legal advice in several high-stakes situations.  His extensive experience in navigating the complexities of restructuring and insolvency law ensures clients receive tailored solutions that balance legal considerations with business objectives.

Aleksa has, otherwise, primarily assisted, advised and facilitated financiers across several various commercial transactions, including representing ASX-listed companies, international investors, and insolvency practitioners.  Known for a highly personable approach, Aleksa builds strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders, ensuring seamless collaboration throughout the legal process.
