Jessie Lonergan

Jessie Lonergan is an associate in Lavan’s Family & Private Clients team.

Jessie has practised exclusively in Family Law since 2022 and has experience working with clients to resolve their complex financial and parenting matters.

Jessie Lonergan holds a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Science majoring in Business Information Systems (IT).  Jessie’s unique skill set allows her to strategically apply her highly developed analytical problem-solving skills to achieve optimal outcomes for her clients.  Jessie’s interests in IT extends to the ownership of private data, the division of crypto and digital assets, and the perpetration of family domestic violence using technology.  She is also interested in the developing interactions between artificial intelligence and the legal system.

Jessie has been a Non-Executive Director for a multi-million-dollar not-for-profit organisation.  Using this experience Jessie regularly applies her knowledge to assist her clients to understand how their separation may impact their (or their former partners) corporate structure.

Jessie sits on the Family Law Practitioner’s Association of Western Australia Law Reform Committee.
