Simon Chan

Simon Chan is a partner in Lavan’s Banking & Finance team.

Specialising in corporate and institutional financing, Simon has extensive experience in Australian and international finance transactions.

Simon advises financiers and borrowers across the breadth of financing transactions and in various industries including agribusiness, energy transition, health and aged care, hospitality, marine and shipping, mining services and property.  Simon also has experience in projects and infrastructure financing, property and construction finance, debt restructuring and cross-border financing.

Simon previously spent four years with Allen & Overy LLP in London.  He has worked in-house on secondment to the Royal Bank of Scotland in London and Westpac Institutional Bank in Perth.
