About the Role
We are searching for an experienced Accounts Clerk to join our busy Accounting and Finance team. This role works alongside experienced accounting professionals in a fast-paced, collaborative and high performing environment.
Reporting to our Finance Manager, you will provide support to the team through:
- Assisting with Accounts Payable processing and reconciliations
- Assisting with general receipting of Accounts Receivables
- Assisting with collection of debtors and associated reporting
- Assisting with Monitoring Dormant Balances in Client Trust Accounts
- Assisting with client trust ledgers and firm ledgers
- Assisting with Trust Account Statement and Controlled Money Accounts (CMA) Statement
- Assisting with the Reconciliation of the firm’s CMAs
- Reconciliation of the firm’s Credit cards
- Matter and client disbursement allocations
- Support for other administrative tasks and for team members when required
About You
This role will suit an enthusiastic and hard-working individual with a keen eye for detail. You will be self-motivated and organised, with a willingness to work well with others. To be successful you will bring with you:
- 2 – 3 years’ experience in an entry-level accounting or finance role
- High attention to detail with the ability to effectively multitask and prioritise work
- Effective communication skills both written and verbal
- Enthusiasm and reliability as a team player
- Strong computer literacy skills in MS Office Suite
- Legal accounts experience would be advantageous
