Tamica has expertise in construction law and has extensive experience in representing developers and owners in medium to large-scale commercial and infrastructure projects throughout Australia.
Tamica’s expertise enables her to provide advice to clients during all stages of a project from planning and development through to completion.
Tamica’s work involves:
- preparation of tender documents and conducting risk analysis for projects;
- drafting and negotiating all forms of construction contracts including work agreements, supply agreements, service agreements, subcontracts and consultancy agreements;
- providing strategic advice on claims management and contract disputes;
- preparing and responding to rapid adjudications under the various Security for Payment legislation and representing parties at arbitration, and other forms of alternative dispute resolution; and
- representing parties in the Supreme Court of Western Australia, District Court and State Administrative Tribunal in construction disputes.
